This slipmat is also a phenakistoscope, an early animation device that creates the illusion of a moving picture when a camera's shutter blurs its rotation.
The rings of the disc will appear to freeze in place at 33, 45, & 78RPM. Use the turntable’s pitch control to “play” the design!
